It's been a tough Monday morning for some Google Drive users who have been dealing with a service outage.

Google Drive, a free service that allows users to store documents, videos and Google Docs and access them anywhere, has been down this morning for some users.

The company first reported a problem at 10:17 a.m. ET today. Then at 11:10 a.m., Google reported that the outage was affecting a "significant subset of users" and that its tech people are working on the problem.

At 11:55 a.m. ET, the company reported that the service had been restored for "some" usersand expects the outage be resolved within an hour.

Users, venting their frustrations on Twitter, were complaining about the service being down or being slow to load.

"Google drive failed me this morning. Not a great way to start the day. I couldn't print out the homework I stayed up all night doing," tweeted @birdsofprey21.

And @john_mccoubrey tweeted, "Some of my docs on Google Drive appear to have been removed. Hope this is just a temporary glitch."

While Google Drive is back up for @ellis_tsang, it's still not working well. "Google drive now back up like a limp horse struggling to move," he tweeted.
